Systems Engineering Associate Manager in the Maritime & Missile Defense Radar (MMDR) department managing an RMS Engineering and Technology (E&T) organization supporting the programs within the SEMS line of business, reporting directly to the MMDR Senior Manager.
This First Line Manager will lead the SPY-7 Radar Integration & Test unit, a team that provides radar system integration & test support for Lockheed Martin's SPY-7 configuration of the Scalable, Supportable, Software-Defined, S-Band Radar (S4R) product line in Moorestown, NJ.
This Manager will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate engineering processes, technical personnel, and design tools are applied and managed.
Staffing responsibilities include the projection and planning of appropriate staffing levels, recruiting and selection of interns, contractors, college hires and experienced professionals.
This role oversees a highly skilled set of engineers in E&T, including an engineering team of leads and
individual contributors working on formal qualification
testing of radar system and subsystem
requirements, regression testing, on-site
(customer site) support for integration activities
prior to system selloff, and more.
The position will be responsible for program execution, driving technical and organizational strategy, instilling and maintaining engineering discipline, and enhancing employee experiences while focusing on functional management excellence.

Facilitates and ensures technical vitality of functional team to meet current and strategic requirements
Fosters career development and employee growth as: Technical contributors, program leads, functional leaders, and future business leaders
Establishes and implements organizational training and development plans

Proactively communicates with all constituents
Ensures flow-down of tactical information and strategic vision

CUSTOMERS / GROWTH / FINANCIALS:
Guides resolution of technical issues across programs within technical discipline
Provides technical leadership and oversight of REAS program performance
Ensures cost, schedule and technical commitments are met for all programs and products
Ensures appropriate BOE's are applied, risks and opportunities identified, and approves cost estimates
Deploys engineering subject matter experts, best practices, and reuse of product, component, and infrastructure across RMS
