Job description

Job: Project Manager/ Design Engineer for Fuel Oil Systems

Overview of this position - This position has two parts which overlap but are required for success:

Project Manager: Responsibility is ultimately the profitability of the project. To accomplish this, the project manager uses our software tools to assign tasks, manage the project schedule, be the single point of contact for the customer, and the decision maker for issues that affect the project. People skills are required as communication with the factory, your task owners, your customer and all "stake holders" go through the project manager.

Design Engineer: As the position is a technical role, it is required that the PM\DE will need to step in as a task owner to keep the project progressing. This could include modifying bills of materials, electrical schematics, panel layouts, or O&M manuals. Technical submittals must be reviewed prior to sending to the customer. This role requires a review from a "system perspective". The PM\DE will be the closest to anticipating how the customer will accept the submittal. As submittal comments are returned, the PM\DE will review comments from a technical and project scope perspective.
