Job description

Tiger Analytics is an advanced analytics consulting firm. We are the trusted analytics partner for several Fortune 100 companies, enabling them to generate business value from data. Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI. Our business value and leadership have been recognized by various market research firms, including Forrester and Gartner.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex, large-scale technology modernization programs from inception through delivery. In this role, you will drive GCP-based modernization initiatives across data, AI/ML, and infrastructure workstreams while bridging the gap between Tech Ops, software engineering, business leaders, and external vendor partners.

The ideal candidate combines deep hands‑on expertise in technical program governance, financial management, and Agile methodologies with a forward-thinking mindset—actively leveraging modern AI tools to maximize efficiency and program velocity.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Modernization Delivery

  • End-to-End Program Ownership: Lead complex, large-scale technology initiatives from initial strategy and scoping through execution, deployment, and post-implementation review.

  • GCP Modernization: Support cloud modernization programs, driving alignment across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) workstreams involving infrastructure, data engineering, and AI/ML capabilities.

  • Tech Ops Management: Oversee infrastructure operations, platform provisioning, and IT operations delivery to ensure resilient, scalable architecture.

Governance, Risk & Financial Management

  • Program Governance: Design, implement, and maintain robust program governance frameworks, clear operational metrics, and executive status reporting.

  • RAID Management: Actively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) logs; proactively mitigate risks before they impact delivery timelines or quality.

  • Financial & AOP Tracking: Manage program budgets, aligned with Annual Operating Plans (AOP). Execute accurate project forecasting, cost tracking, and resource actualization.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partner Management

  • Executive Facilitation: Partner closely with key stakeholders up to the C-suite level to report progress, manage expectations, and facilitate strategic decision-making.

  • Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage integrated delivery plans across internal cross-functional teams and external vendor partners.

Delivery Practices & Tooling

  • Agile Advocacy: Champion Agile principles across multiple technical teams, facilitating standard ceremonies and driving continuous improvement in delivery metrics.

  • Tooling & AI Integration: Utilize enterprise program management tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet) and integrate advanced AI capabilities (such as Claude or equivalent tools) to streamline reporting, documentation, and program workflows.

  • Experience: 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience driving complex, large-scale tech programs to successful execution.

  • Cloud & Modernization: Proven experience leading GCP-based modernization efforts covering data, AI/ML, or core cloud infrastructure workstreams.

  • Tech Ops Focus: Strong practical background in Tech Ops, including infrastructure operations, platform provisioning, and IT operations delivery.

  • Governance Expertise: Advanced proficiency in RAID management, establishing program governance, and delivering executive-ready presentations.

  • Financial Acumen: Direct experience with program financial management, AOP alignment, project forecasting, and resource actualization.

  • Stakeholder Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and facilitate decision-making with C-suite and executive leadership.

  • Vendor Management: Proven track record managing multi-vendor environments and cross-functional teams with competing priorities.

  • Agile Expertise: Strong advocate for Agile methodologies with hands-on practice guiding multiple technical teams in iterative software delivery.

  • Tooling Proficiency:

    • Deep experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or equivalent project management software.

    • Proficiency in using AI Productivity Tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent LLM platforms) for program management tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Architect or Technical Lead certifications.

  • Background in software engineering, DevOps, or system architecture prior to transitioning into program management.

Significant career development opportunities exist as the company grows. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a small, fast-growing, challenging and entrepreneurial environment, with a high degree of individual responsibility.
