Overview:

The Technical Security Programs Analyst will be a key contributor to the Enterprise  Security function of a Fortune 500 company. This position, reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Security Programs, will coordinate with various stakeholders across the Company in order to support the delivery of technical security services. Additionally, this position will work closely with other members of the Enterprise Security team to assist the development of enterprise security solutions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Track project goals and timelines; coordinate with internal teams and project coordinators.
  • Leadership: Coordinate full lifecycle of low voltage and physical security systems projects; ensure alignment with client expectations and internal objectives.
  • Client Engagement: Coordinate with project stakeholders and sponsors, maintain strong relationships, and coordinate with external contractors.
  • Scope & Risk Management: Define and Track project scope; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Design: Coordinate with Security Engineers to prepare pre-project packages for presentation to the business based on operational goals provided in risk assessment.
  • Coordinate: Prioritize projects based on risk assessment and project impact.
  • Team Oversight: Support cross-functional teams; Track tasks and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Budget Management: Track project budgets; provide financial updates to leadership.
  • Quality Control: Conduct on-site reviews to ensure project standards and timelines are met.

Education/Experience:

  • Associateโ€™s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Security Management, Criminal Justice or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project management.
  • Working Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of construction and project methodology required.

Working Conditions:

Work is normally in an office environment. However, work is often performed at various locations where NRG may be located or seek to develop locations, sometimes under stressful conditions and/or in unpleasant locations or environments with various risk, during all kinds of weather and frequently in addition to and after normal working hours at night, on weekends or holidays. Ability to travel extensively on short notice is required.

Employee is required to respond by telephone or in person during on-duty and off-duty hours.
