What will my role entail in the position Summary?

The Account Manager serves as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of existing clients, delivering exceptional customer service while building and maintaining long-term partnerships. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, identifying opportunities to expand services through additional Benson Systems solutions, and ensuring clients remain engaged and satisfied throughout the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding customer experience while supporting account growth and retention.

This position is based in Tempe, Arizona, and offers a hybrid work environment that includes client site visits, remote work, and in-office collaboration. The Account Manager works closely with Project Managers, Technicians, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, responsive customer support, and continued client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:List the essential duties of the position.

  • Maintain and Grow Existing Accounts: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building rapport and ensuring ongoing satisfaction with Benson Systems' services.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional solutions, security, fire protection, and life safety services to existing clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Conduct regular check-ins and QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with clients to evaluate needs, address concerns, and explore new project opportunities.
  • Contract Renewals and Expansions: Manage renewal processes for service contracts, coordinate expansions or new service offerings, and handle any adjustments to existing agreements.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Implementation, Project Management, and Technical Service teams to ensure a seamless client experience, from onboarding to ongoing support.
  • Client Advocacy: Proactively identify and resolve client issues or challenges, acting as a liaison between the customer and internal resources.
  • Data and Reporting: Track and report on key account metrics, including churn risk, expansion opportunities, and overall client satisfaction levels.
