Job description

Immanuel Enterprises in Ozark, AL is looking for one infant/toddler teacher to join our 22 person strong team. We have three locations in Ozark, Alabama. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early childhood development.
  • Encourage language development through talking, reading, singing, and interactive play.
  • Promote social-emotional development through nurturing and positive guidance.
  • Support fine motor and gross motor skill development through hands-on activities.
  • Maintain consistent classroom routines and schedules.
  • Maintain active supervision of children at all times.
  • Ensure classroom compliance with Alabama DHR minimum standards and center policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment.
  • Follow all health, safety, diapering, handwashing, and sanitation procedures.
  • Monitor children for signs of illness or injury and report concerns immediately

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • CDA in Infant/Toddler, Associate Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
  • Must meet Alabama DHR requirements for childcare staff.
  • Must pass required background checks.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred or willing to obtain.
