Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on IT Engineering Lead to support and evolve our Microsoft-centric corporate environment. This role focuses on endpoint engineering and automation, Microsoft identity and SaaS administration, network maintenance, and executive technology readiness.

This is not a traditional HelpDesk Engineering role. This is an engineering-first role requiring strong PowerShell scripting, deep familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, and the ability to troubleshoot authentication, licensing, and SaaS access issues in a production environment. The Lead is responsible for making all technology in our headquarters user-obvious and a joy to use. The right candidate combines strong systems thinking with practical end-user support capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and maintain PowerShell scripts and deployment packages to automate endpoint configuration, patching, compliance enforcement, and large-scale system changes across Windows and macOS environments.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including dynamic groups, authentication failures, conditional access policies, MFA issues, and device compliance impacts.
  • Resolve user licensing and access issues across Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce, and other SaaS platforms, including environments with mixed SSO and direct account management.
  • Provide user-level support where necessary, with a focus on identifying root causes and converting recurring issues into scalable, automated solutions .
  • Maintain and troubleshoot corporate network infrastructure built on Ubiquiti devices, including switches, wireless access points, VPN configuration, and RADIUS authentication.
  • Maintain Poly/Polycom conference room systems supporting both Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings, ensuring reliable platform switching and meeting readiness.
  • Provide white-glove support to executive leadership and ensure laptops, conference rooms, and network infrastructure are fully configured and tested ahead of quarterly Board and Town Hall meetings.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex endpoint, identity, and application issues and continuously convert recurring problems into automated solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 46+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, Microsoft systems administration, or IT infrastructure roles.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting experience in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Entra ID, Microsoft 365 licensing, authentication, and SaaS SSO issues.
  • Experience maintaining small-to-mid size corporate networks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, identity platforms, and SaaS applications.
  • Expertise in writing both technical documents and user guides
