Overview
Supply System Analyst (MCLC-2026-25449):
Bowhead seeks to network with a Supply System Analyst to support the Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC) Production Plant Albany (PPA).
Responsibilities
  • Analyzes transactions/data to determine problem areas.
  • Determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions.
  • Provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations.
  • Coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems.
  • Research potential functional problem areas.
  • Performs as the Warehouse Management System (WMS) point of contact (POC) to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to WMS which can include identifying workload trends and proactively identifying potential issues.
  • Performs WMS transaction code inquiries and research and serves as the WMS system analyst as required.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintains a high level of safety awareness.
  • Accountable for assigned Company Owned Property, Government Furnished Property, and Government Furnished Equipment.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with published Instructions, Federal, State, and Local OSHA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma is required at a minimum, however an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or Data Analytics is preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience using WMS or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures Warehouse Management System (WMS) within the past five (5) years.is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions.
  • Requires knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships in order to conduct studies, reviews, and investigations
  • Trained as a Query Management Facility (QMF) query writer to write new queries as requested
  • Knowledgeable of established warehousing and material handling methods and techniques.
  • Have written and oral communications abilities commensurate with this supervisory role.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • US Citizenship is required.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
  • High noise levels are common as is the potential exposure to heat/cold, noise, dusts, mist, and/or fumes.

  • Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes safety glasses, protective-toe footwear, gloves, and hearing protection.

Security Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Common Access Card through a favorable Personnel Security Investigations and subsequent National Agency Check with Inquiries.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must pass a base security background check for CAC. US Citizenship is a requirement for at this location.
