AXS has built a strong reputation for exceptional customer service, reliable product performance, and sustained growth within the mobility sector.

This role is hired under AXS and supports the broader Solutions 2 GO Mobility portfolio. Solutions 2 GO Mobility is a division of Solutions 2 GO Inc., a privately held multinational distributor of consumer electronics. A premier provider of mobility products and turnkey distribution solutions, S2G Mobility empowers leading retailers, carriers, and manufacturers to bring innovative mobility products to market.

Scope:

The Account Manager, Mobility - Quebec is responsible for driving sales performance and brand growth across the Quebec market, with a primary focus on managing and expanding an existing book of business. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales, Mobile Phones and Accessories, this role inherits a portfolio of established accounts spanning telecom carriers and dealers, regional retailers, mass merchants, wireless specialty stores, accessory boutiques, B2B resellers, and emerging mobility channels across the province.

This is a Quebec-based, French-first role requiring strong knowledge of the local market, business culture, and retail landscape. The Account Manager acts as the face of Solutions 2 GO in Quebec - nurturing long-standing partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring superior execution of mobile phones, accessories, and connected device programs at every point of sale. Working closely with the Inside Sales team, marketing, supply chain, and vendor partners, this role is accountable for protecting and growing the revenue base while continuously broadening the customer footprint within Quebec.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Account Management & Book of Business Ownership

  • Take ownership of an existing book of business in Quebec, with full accountability for retention, revenue growth, and margin performance across the portfolio
  • Build and execute account plans for each customer (carriers, dealers, retailers, B2B resellers) to maximize sell-in, sell-through, and share of wallet
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned accounts, ensuring superior service, responsiveness, and partnership continuity

Market Expansion & New Business Development

  • Broaden the Quebec footprint beyond the traditional telecom dealer channel by prospecting and onboarding new customers across mass retail, regional chains, independent retailers, accessory specialty stores, and B2B/IoT segments
  • Identify and champion new partnership opportunities aligned with S2G's mobility brand portfolio and growth strategy
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to activate, onboard, and ramp new accounts efficiently

Sales Growth & Revenue Optimization

  • Partner with Inside Sales Representatives to secure orders, track sell-through, and influence purchasing behaviour across the customer base
  • Drive strategic upsell and cross-sell initiatives across smartphones, accessories, audio, IoT, and emerging mobility categories
  • Monitor account performance KPIs (revenue, margin, attach rates, sell-through) and develop actionable plans to address gaps or accelerate growth

In-Store Leadership & Field Execution

  • Conduct regular in-store visits across Quebec to assess merchandising, product placement, planogram compliance, and customer experience
  • Implement high-impact product displays, accessory planograms, and promotional materials to maximize brand visibility at retail
  • Capture and report retail, competitive, and market intelligence specific to Quebec to support proactive sales strategy adjustments

Training & Sales Enablement

  • Deliver compelling product training sessions - in French and English - to store associates, dealer staff, and partner sales teams, elevating technical knowledge and sales capability
  • Facilitate ongoing education tied to device launches, accessory innovations, and promotional cycles
  • Act as the primary product knowledge resource and influence point for the Quebec customer base

Product Placement & Launch Activation

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely placement and visibility of new devices and accessories across all Quebec accounts
  • Lead in-store execution for launches, ensuring alignment with merchandising standards and promotional plans
  • Track and resolve launch execution gaps in collaboration with marketing, supply chain, and sales teams

Cross-Functional Alignment & Channel Strategy

  • Work closely with the sales support team to streamline communication across the Quebec customer base
  • Align with product, marketing, and supply partners to ensure competitive positioning and seamless execution in the Quebec market
  • Provide strategic insights during national planning sessions, representing the voice and realities of Quebec customers and consumers

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Fully bilingual (French and English) - French fluency is essential given the Quebec market focus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing an existing book of business and growing customer accounts in the Quebec market
  • Strong understanding of the Quebec retail, telecom, and consumer electronics landscape, including carriers, dealers, mass retail and regional chains
  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and communication abilities
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, field-driven role with frequent travel across the province and regular customer-facing meetings
  • Outstanding training, presentation, and influence skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and translate insights into decisive actions
  • Highly self-driven, organized, results-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within Quebec

The successful candidate will receive a conditional offer, contingent upon the successful completion of a background check conducted by our contracted third-party vendor. The specific clearance requirements vary by position and may include one or more of the following: criminal background check, credit check, employment verification, education verification, and driver's abstract review. If you have any questions along the way, please do not hesitate to ask.
