Belstra Milling Company is searching for an individual to be a part of our Supply Chain department at our DeMotte location. This position will help coordinate and assist with inventory control, fulfillment, and loading trailers/trucks. Belstra Milling has a history of manufacturing high-quality, nutritious feeds for all livestock and is committed to its core values of Quality, Integrity, and Service. We are looking for individuals who strive for the same values and desires. In addition, this position must also work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.


Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Count and track feed and ingredient inventory via handheld scanning software
  • Stack/Load pallets
  • Load trucks/customer vehicles both physically and via forklift
  • Handle inbound and outbound truck drivers and paperwork
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Must be able to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Perform housekeeping in areas and safety checks on equipment

Requirements

Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to):

  • Strong communication and listening skills within and outside of the company

  • Ability to think ahead and find resolutions to problems
  • Basic iPad skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to regularly lift 60 pounds
  • Climb ladders and stairs and work at heights with good body balance
  • Work near moving mechanical parts
  • Ability to work in a dusty, cold, hot, humid environment
  • Withstand exposure to seasonal weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • This position requires the ability to walk, kneel, bend, climb, etc.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Forklift experience required
  • Previous feed manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred

  • General New Hire Safety Training
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Requirements
  • Forklift Certification
  • Spot Truck Certification
