Job Scope

We are seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team. You will work alongside senior engineers embedded directly with clients to design, build, and ship AI-native solutions from agentic systems and knowledge infrastructure to client-facing prototypes and integrations.

This is a forward deployed role. You will be in the room when problems are being defined and at the keyboard when they are being solved. You will build things that did not exist before: agent loops where human judgment and AI capability compound over time, databases that make institutional knowledge queryable, and infrastructure that gets smarter with every use. The goal is not to pick the best model but to build the ecosystem around it where every client owns their learning loop and their knowledge compounds. Strong mentorship and immediate project ownership from day one.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build agentic systems including multi-step reasoning loops, tool-use patterns, and orchestration layers that solve real business problems and improve on their own signal over time
  • Write code with agents as a first-class primitive. You will code agents, code with agents, and build systems where agentic patterns are native to how the product works
  • Build and maintain knowledge infrastructure including structured and unstructured databases, embedding pipelines, and retrieval systems that turn accumulated organizational expertise into queryable, compounding capital
  • Evaluate model performance against real business outcomes, building feedback systems that measure what actually matters to the organization rather than relying on external benchmarks
  • Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and client-facing teams to understand requirements, translate them into build priorities, and close the loop between customer feedback and what ships
  • Conduct business analysis to surface what teams actually need, map that against what is technically possible, and help shape the product roadmap accordingly
  • Prototype fast and iterate in the open, leaving clients with systems they own and control
  • Help every client build a frontier ecosystem, not just a frontier integration, so value compounds inside their organization rather than concentrating in a handful of general models
  • Identify leverage points where tighter feedback loops, better agent design, or smarter infrastructure can produce durable compounding outcomes
  • Build and maintain internal AI tooling and documentation as the team and client base scale
  • Foster collaboration across engineering, account management, and sales
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required
  • Up to 2 years in a technical or solutions-adjacent role, internships, co-ops, and independent project work count
  • Foundational Python or scripting skills, comfortable reading, modifying, and running code independently
  • Familiarity with databases including SQL, vector stores, or document databases and how data moves through a system
  • Comfort working with APIs and structured data formats such as JSON and CSV
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize under pressure, and stay level-headed in front of clients
  • Comfortable being forward deployed, working directly inside client environments and adapting quickly to what you find there
  • Demonstrated initiative, you learn new tools fast and do not wait to be told what to build next
  • Flexibility in work hours to support international clients and global teams
Bonus Points
  • Experience building with AI APIs including Claude, OpenAI, or similar
  • Hands-on work with agent frameworks, orchestration tools, or multi-step reasoning patterns such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar open source tooling
  • Familiarity with vector databases, embedding pipelines, or RAG architectures
  • Experience working with open source AI tools, models, or frameworks and contributing to or building on top of the open source ecosystem
  • Background in data analysis, AI model evaluation, or enterprise SaaS
  • Comfort with cloud infrastructure and how AI systems are deployed and maintained at scale
  • You have shipped something agentic and watched it improve on its own signal
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision
  • Fully remote with flexible scheduling
  • Mentorship from senior engineers working at the frontier of applied AI
  • Immediate ownership, you will ship real things fast
  • A front-row seat to what AI-native enterprise infrastructure actually looks like in practice
