A central component of the role includes advising on hardware procurement and asset strategy to ensure technology investments are fiscally responsible, aligned with institutional standards, and tailored to specialized academic requirements.

This position requires a strong combination of technical expertise, relationship management, project coordination, and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will maintain a deep understanding of university IT services, emerging technologies, and best practices to help advance the mission of the College and the University.

  • Coordinate timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Partner with operational support teams to ensure smooth deployment and long-term service success.

Technical Knowledge & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain expertise in university IT services, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology utilization, efficiency, and user experience across the College.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and advocate for effective technology adoption.
Qualifications

  • Ability to engage with stakeholders to uncover underlying challenges and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications
  • Project Management using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to evaluate and design integrated hardware and software solutions that account for the full lifecycle, including fiscal sustainability and technical fit
  • Document and optimize workflows through process mapping and requirements analysis
  • Evaluate computing hardware and specialized technology to provide high-value procurement advice that aligns with institutional standards.

Preferred certifications:
