Summary The MIL Corporation seeks an AI Developer (Software Engineering, Associate) to support the design, development, and implementation of AI, automation, and software solutions for internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background and be comfortable working across AI/ML, software development, process automation, data integration, and business applications. This role will support a variety of government and back-office use cases and requires someone who can quickly learn new technologies, understand business processes, and develop practical solutions using both emerging and established tools. This position currently requires a hybrid schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. This position is currently unfunded and is being posted in anticipation of a future contract award and funding approval. We are proactively identifying and engaging with qualified candidates. While candidates may be contacted for pre-screening, any hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and final program requirements or client approval. Responsibilities * Design and develop AI, machine learning, automation, and software solutions for government and business use cases. * Develop AI-enabled applications, workflow automations, Python scripts, APIs, and web-based solutions. * Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for AI, RPA, system integration, and process improvement. * Integrate applications with databases, APIs, enterprise systems, and other data sources. * Research and evaluate AI models, automation tools, and software technologies for customer use cases. * Develop prototypes, demonstrations, and production-ready solutions, including testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and documentation. * Work independently and with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into working solutions. Travel Up to 25% Required Qualifications * 7+ years of professional experience * 5+ years experience developing AI/ML, automation, data-driven, or business software applications. * Software development experience using Python or another modern programming language. * Experience working with APIs, data, and system integrations. * Ability to understand business processes and translate requirements into practical technical solutions. * Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to learn new technologies quickly. Desired Qualifications * Experience with LLMs, generative AI, machine learning, computer vision, or predictive analytics. * Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, or other cloud and low-code platforms. * Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar technologies. * Experience with web applications, APIs, SQL/databases, and modern software development tools such as Git and Docker. * Experience deploying AI or software solutions to cloud, on-premises, or restricted environments. * Familiarity with commercial and open-source AI platforms and models. * Experience with C++, optimization/simulation, or deploying software and ML models to edge or embedded computing environments. Education BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or another relevant technical or business field, or equivalent relevant experience.
