Job description

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Fullstack Software Engineer II at LVT, you will build, ship, and iterate on features that directly impact how our customers interact with our cutting-edge IoT and Agentic AI platforms. Working within a collaborative, fast-paced team, you will contribute across our complete TypeScript stack-from crafting responsive UI components to developing scalable API endpoints. This is an exceptional opportunity to expand your technical skills, collaborate closely with senior engineers, and deliver robust software that bridges the physical and digital worlds.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Feature Delivery: Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable TypeScript code across the front end (React/Next.js) and back end (Node.js/GraphQL).

  • API Development & Integration: Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL API endpoints, ensuring secure and efficient communication between our UI surfaces and backend databases.

  • Bug Resolution & Debugging: Investigate, reproduce, and resolve defects across the application stack, ensuring continuous stability and a high-quality user experience.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Write and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to guarantee feature reliability and minimize regressions in production environments.

  • Collaborative Teamwork: Active participation in Agile ceremonies, design discussions, sprint planning, and thorough, constructive code reviews to elevate team standards.

  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize observability and logging tools to track system health, monitor performance, and help troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.

 OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • 3-5 Years of Professional Software Engineering Experience: A strong track record of shipping production-grade code within a modern software team environment.

  • Solid TypeScript Fundamentals: Hands-on experience developing web applications using TypeScript across both client and server-side components.

  • Modern Frontend Experience: Strong proficiency in React, including familiarity with modern framework concepts like Next.js (App Router).

  • Backend & API Competency: Practical experience working with Node.js and building/consuming APIs via REST or GraphQL schemas.

  • Data Layer Familiarity: Working knowledge of relational databases (such as MySQL) and experience utilizing ORMs or query builders (e.g., Knex).

  • Modern Development Tooling: Comfortable working with version control (Git), container environments (Docker), and participating in automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.

  • Curious & Collaborative: A strong team-first mindset with a proactive desire to learn new technologies, tackle ambiguous technical problems, and receive mentorship from senior peers.
