Construction Project Manager - Monterey, CA

RQ Construction is currently hiring experienced Construction Project Managers to support our West Coast Field Operations team on military construction projects located in Monterey, California. This role is responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring successful execution while embodying RQ's Mission, Vision, and core values.

Established in 1996, RQC, LLC has become a recognized leader in the Design-Build construction industry, delivering commercial and government projects throughout the United States. Headquartered in Carlsbad, California, RQ provides full-service design and construction solutions through dedicated project teams assigned to each jobsite nationwide.

Our expertise centers on fast-paced, ground-up commercial construction projects for both public and private clients, with a significant portion of our work supporting the Department of Defense.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $130,000–$160,000, depending on qualifications and experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline required; equivalent industry experience and field training may be considered
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing commercial construction projects or equivalent
  • At least 6 years of progressive construction industry experience in roles such as Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or comparable positions
  • Previous Design-Build project experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet-based applications
  • Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit software is preferred
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications required or ability to obtain; STS certification is a plus
  • LEED Green Associate or Accredited Professional credentials preferred
