Job description

The Opportunity

Our client is building the definitive operating system for CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) brands—replacing the fragmented spreadsheets and manual workflows that currently sit between billion-dollar brands and their data. Having recently raised a $15M Series A led by Footwork Ventures and Y Combinator, they are in a period of hyper-growth, quintupling revenue last year and on track to quadruple it again this year.

They are currently trusted by over 200 brands managing $20B+ in revenue, including household names like OLIPOP, Ben & Jerry’s, Tropicana, and Dr. Squatch.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will tackle massive greenfield opportunities in a deeply underserved vertical. You won’t just be a cog in a machine; you’ll be building the core infrastructure and product systems that power financial analytics, AI-driven workflows, and large-scale data pipelines. This is the ideal role for an engineer who wants to sit at the intersection of Product, AI, and Infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect Core Systems: Build and scale the platform powering financial workflows, from cash application to trade promotion management.

  • Data & AI Integration: Develop systems to ingest and process complex financial data and implement AI-powered workflows for document processing and extraction.

  • Product Ownership: Work directly with product teams (and occasionally customers) to turn complex operational pain points into elegant, scalable software.

  • Scale Infrastructure: Solve high-impact problems like scaling pipelines that pull data from diverse retailer systems and building analytics for demand planning.

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: Experience building and scaling backend services, APIs, and data-heavy applications.

  • Technical Versatility: Ability to work across the stack to deliver high-quality, reliable code.

  • Product Mindset: You enjoy understanding the "why" behind the code and shipping solutions that provide immediate customer impact.

  • On-site Collaboration: Ability to work 5 days a week in a beautiful, brand-new office in Chelsea, NYC, alongside a highly intelligent and laid-back team.

Why Join?

  • Impact: Move directly from code to customer impact in a massive, trillion-dollar industry.

  • Growth: Join a Series A startup with best-in-class growth metrics and a path to market leadership.

  • Culture: A high-autonomy environment with a strong in-office culture (flexibility when needed) and a team of top-tier talent.
