Software Developer (Columbia, SC) Design, develop, and maintain backend software systems and scalable architectures to support large-scale data collection, processing, storage, and distribution for business operations and client-facing applications. Develop and maintain automated data collection and extraction systems to retrieve, parse, validate, and normalize structured and unstructured data from external sources. Design and implement robust data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines to ensure reliable data flow and seamless integration across distributed system components. Design and develop application programming interfaces (APIs) and web services to provide secure, efficient, and programmatic access to processed data for internal tools and external applications. Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, queries, and data models to support efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of large-scale datasets. Integrate data enrichment processes and machine learning models into data processing workflows to improve data quality, accuracy, and automated classification. Develop and maintain web-based applications and user interfaces that enable end users to access, visualize, and interact with processed data. Requires a master’s degree in computer science.
