Collaborate with senior, lead, or principal engineers to design, develop, and maintain C# and .NET services and SQL Server data models that support H&R Block’s Retail, DIY (Online), and Mobile tax preparation workflows, including writing and executing unit tests to validate workflow/business rules, data validations, and API behavior. Responsible for the end-to-end development of software components including making independent decisions on implementation details and architecture, as well as defining design approaches. Perform debugging and lead technical design and code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, and mentor junior team members on debugging and unit testing strategies. Develop scalable full-stack features using Angular and TypeScript, which implement new customer-facing screens and UI + API integration, improve usability, validation, and secure data handling while maintaining platform stability across releases.
