Description

SAIC is looking for a Data Integrity Associate System Engineer to join our team of the Air Operations Center Weapons System (AOC WS) Falconer Program. The ideal candidate serves as a member of the Engineering and Sustainment Systems Engineering Team. This position requires technical engineering experience, with a demonstrated understanding and application of systems engineering and configuration management principles and processes, mission planning/scheduling along with experience in systems engineering and sustainment of existing baselines. The position requires an understanding of data normalization and standardization, data integrity, and data and workflow identification and analysis. The successful candidate will be effective at face-to-face interaction with customers and other contractors to respond to requests for information, support technical meetings, technical interchanges and enterprise working groups. The candidate must be able to work independently and represent the program and SAIC at meetings and working groups with government and associate contractors. The candidate must be able to effectively interface with software developers and have a good understanding of how to communicate systems engineering requirements to software development teams.

Additionally, the candidate will provide the following modification and sustaining engineering design and analysis services in order to modify and sustain the fielding AOC WS baselines:

  • Review, analyze and recommend solutions with regard to Government requirements and design documentation.
  • Review, analyze and provide oversight of the Government plans, procedures and execution, provide Systems Engineering services to manage the Governments Product Lifecycle Management Tool (PLMT) or any other Government approved lifecycle tools used during the design, integration and testing of the AOC.
  • Ensure that all tools used in designing, developing, integrating or testing baseline releases are integrated with the Government PLMT and other Government approved tools.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors in Engineering and 3-5 years or more experience; Masters Engineering 1-3 years or more experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Working knowledge of the Agile software development process.
  • Experience with data flow and logic diagrams.
