About the Role

Rx Savings Solutions builds patented software that helps consumers make smarter healthcare decisions - reducing prescription costs for millions of people. As an Associate Software Engineer, you'll write production code that directly supports that mission, working alongside pharmacists, engineers, designers, and quality analysts in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. This is a great entry point for early-career engineers who want their work to matter from day one.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain software components across the full stack, including frontend UI (React) and backend services (PHP, Node.js)
  • Write and execute unit and functional tests to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives to support team velocity and continuous improvement
  • Follow secure coding standards and participate in code reviews to identify vulnerabilities, bugs, and deviations from best practices
  • Document active software projects clearly for team and cross-functional use
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application functionality issues
  • Expand your technical skills through training, team learning, and hands-on project work
Basic Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience designing and developing software applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL and relational database (RDBMS) concepts
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: PHP, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Node.js
  • Experience with Git or another version control system

  • Experience with the Laravel PHP framework
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue, and TypeScript
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Exposure to mobile development using Dart and Flutter
