Warehouse Associate - Service

Eaton's ES GDCO DIT division is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate - Service to join the Woodridge, IL site.

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.

Shift Hours: 5:30am-2:00pm

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate – Service is responsible for picking and packing products that are scheduled to be shipped out. You will work to verify orders as they come in and out of the facility. Load and unload trucks and process them to the correct area for storage. Recharging battery units as needed.

In this function you will:

  • Pick, pack, and ship product
  • Verify product, product numbers, and quantity for order accuracy
  • Load and unload Trucks / Containers
  • Receive and process stock and materials
  • Stock the warehouse and rotate/replenish inventory
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Recharge battery units as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Handheld / RF Scanner experience

• Forklift, Material Handling Equipment, or Powered Industrial Truck experience

• Related experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Position Criteria:

• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime

• Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.

• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks

• Ability to move material as needed

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must be willing to work in a variety of capacities/functions

• Must have strong attention to detail

• Must pass a background check and drug screen
