REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager

BASIC SCOPE: The bagger is an important key to the store's success. Many times you will be the last associate in direct contact with the customer. Bagging, the last service the customer receives at the store, is the first thing noticed upon their arrival at home. The service and care the customer receives at this point often determines whether or not the customer will come back to our store.

ESSENTIAL DUTILES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Job Duties:
1. At all times develop maximum customer relations through a friendly and courteous behavior.
2. Prompt and cheerful bagging of customer's purchases
3. Prompt and cheerful offer of assistance to carryout customer purchases.
4. Follow the dress code policy at all times.
5. Maintain an open line of communication between yourself and supervisors on any issue that directly or indirectly affects store operations. Our success will be dependent upon our ability to work together.
6. Assist customers in anyway that would help to improve their shopping visit.
7. Filling of all bag slots and supplies necessary to efficient front-end operations.
8. Wise selection and use of bagging supplies.
9. Perform related duties and assignments as directed by Customer Service Manager, Store Manager or Assistant Manager, or PIC
10. Keep parking lot clear of all carts to eliminate damage to customer’s cars/our carts.
11. Attend store and company meetings as requested.

Housekeeping/Maintenance:
1. General housekeeping of the store, inside and out. (You like a clean place to work, the customer likes a clean place to shop).
2. Maintain all equipment in good working order, notifying the department head or Store Manager of equipment problems.
3. Use and maintain equipment properly and safely to avoid injury and to protect the company's investment at all times
