Job description

POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, AIR QUALITY, PUBLIC HEALTH, AND SATELLITE DATA APPLICATIONS, Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, to perform cutting-edge research on projects centered around satellite data applications for air quality and public health in the Fiore research group (teampaccc.mit.edu) at MIT under the guidance of Dr. Fiore. May also conduct and analyze simulations with chemistry-transport and/or chemistry-climate models as well as in situ and/or remotely sensed observations from ground or airborne platforms. Other duties include leading scientific publications and presentations, as well as the design and documentation of software, including for scientific analysis and visualization.
