**Merrimack Health is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $6,000 for the Mental Health Associate role**

Position Summary:

The Mental Health Associate (MHA) is responsible for performing duties necessary to maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu. Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the MHA will assist the nurse with care of patients whose needs do not require complex nursing skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: High School Graduate or GED.
  • Experience: Experience or training in the mental health or medical field preferred.
  • Certification/Licensure:
    • BLS
    • COAP within 30 days of onboarding
  • Other: Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search.  Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.
