Position Summary

These roles support the risk/compliance framework which enables the organization to operate in compliance with applicable standards, laws and regulations; identify, manage, and mitigate operational risk; and help develop and maintain the framework in response to changes to laws, regulations, and standards. For risk management, they work with leaders to track operational risks and effectiveness of risk mitigation activities. May be limited to one regulatory agency or may include multiple agencies, laws, and regulations applicable to a specific department or area of the business.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location 3 days a week.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. ย The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. ย Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

Bay Area Minimum: $105,000
Bay Mid: $137,000

Bay Area Maximum:$169,000

California Minimum: $100,000

California Mid:$130,000

California Maximum:$161,000

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&Eโ€™s discretionary incentive compensation programs.ย 

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads the team in developing controls and mitigation plans and ensures they are implemented and effective.
  • Performs and oversees compliance and control testing, audits, or other validation processes and analyzes risk or compliance metrics.
  • May respond to regulatory data requests, investigations, audits, and other inquiries.
  • Identifies new/changing requirements or standards and ensures programs and tools are updated accordingly.
  • Verifies reports, audits documentation, and validates content in database / risk register.
  • Participates in or may lead root cause analysis exercises.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 5 years

Desired:

  • Experience in risk management, 2 years
  • Experience in compliance, 2 years
