About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced microwave electronic subsystems. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary engineering challenges spanning RF/microwave, analog/digital, and mechanical/thermal domains.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the full product lifecycle-from concept and design through testing and production-using modern engineering tools and state-of-the-art manufacturing and test facilities.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic packaging solutions for microwave components and subsystems
  • Perform mechanical design, analysis, and documentation for circuit card assemblies (CCA), printed circuit boards (PCB), and cabling
  • Support prototype development, testing, and verification of electronic assemblies
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for manufacturing and field issues
  • Apply GD&T principles to ensure accurate engineering drawings and specifications
  • Manage engineering change documentation and participate in change control processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and test engineering
  • Contribute to the development of new aerospace technologies and products
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree (AA) with 10+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in electronic packaging for military or aerospace applications
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)
    • Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
    • Cable design and documentation
  • Proficiency with CREO and Windchill
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Familiarity with change management and documentation control processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Experience with microwave electronics packaging
  • Knowledge of tools such as Zuken
  • Hands-on experience building and testing electronic assemblies
  • Understanding of materials and processes used in electronics manufacturing
