Join the RF Semiconductors team, based in Wilmington, Massachusetts, the team is looking for a new RF Design Engineer who will contribute to product developments such as RF Beamformers, Up-Down Converters, Detectors, Switches, Attenuators, Filters, Amplifiers for various markets.
As an RF Design Engineer, you'll demonstrate competence in your area and have mastered most basic job functions, while continuing to build higher skill levels through exposure to more complex tasks. You'll work with moderate guidance, follow established directions, and have your work reviewed for accuracy and adequacy. You'll contribute to short-term focused projects, apply standard RF principles and techniques, and begin participating in your own career development planning.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently received Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study
  • Understanding of S-parameters, transmission line theory, and RF networks
  • Ability to apply standard principles to design, simulate, and verify circuit performance at the transistor level and behavioral/architectural level, with developing RF depth
  • Experience in circuit design environments such as Cadence and ADS
  • Skills in electromagnetic simulators such as EMPro and/or HFSS (plus)
  • Experience in test equipment and RF characterization (plus)

Job Duties
  • Circuit design support and implementation for transistor-level RF blocks with appropriate guidance
  • Design evaluation support, including silicon characterization, measurement execution, and analysis of results under direction of senior engineers
  • Design and development contributions for RF products across various process and packaging technologies
  • Problem resolution for an assortment of moderately complex issues using judgment within defined practices and procedures
  • Documentation, preparing required documentation and reports for product development
  • Team participation, actively contributing in group meetings and project activities and communicating technical updates clearly
  • Continuous learning, building skills in RF design, simulation, and verification through on-the-job development
  • Coaching/knowledge sharing (as applicable), providing professional knowledge to more junior employees when appropriate
