CLA is growing and seeking to hire a Senior Associate - R&D Tax Credits to join our talented Federal Tax Strategies (FTS) team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

In this position you should have the following: excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

How you'll create opportunities in the FTS Senior Associate - R&D Tax Credits role:

  • Assist FTS leaders with the delivery of research and development (R&D) tax credit studies for various industries.
  • Willingness to develop a deep understanding of various industries including Manufacturing, Agriculture, Construction, Healthcare and Technology.
  • Demonstrated success in a business environment.
  • Assist managers, directors, and principals with client consultations, technical interviews, calculation review, site visits, and report development.
  • Mentor associates and other team members on their inspired career.
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
  • Experience in business services or consulting preferred
  • Eligible to sit for the CPA preferred
