Overview

The Younger Laboratory is actively searching for a highly motivated Research Associate to assist with several ongoing research programs. Projects areas include, but are not limited to, the generation of patient-derived stem cell models for precision medicine applications as well as the development of advanced cellular models for specific rare diseases.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in molecular biology, genetics, or a related field and 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting. Experience working with mammalian cell culture is required. Candidates that have hands-on experience working with stem cell models are highly encouraged to apply.

• Execution of standard human cell culture and molecular biology experiments
• Collection, analysis, and interpretation of experimental results
• Overall laboratory organization

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $28.39/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
