Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions primarily through an online platform, employing therapeutic techniques to foster improvement in clients’ mental health.
• Establish your own availability, with no minimum hours required, ensuring a healthy work-life balance tailored to your needs.
• Receive compensation for late cancellations or no-shows, granting peace of mind regarding your working hours.
• Maintain a focus on gathering Continuing Education Units (CEUs) each year, with costs covered by the organization.
• Minimize administrative responsibilities as our dedicated team will handle billing and paperwork, allowing you to concentrate on patient care.
• Optionally collaborate with our Content Manager to create insightful educational materials that contribute to community knowledge.
• Lead and facilitate support groups for clients, providing a platform for shared experiences and healing.
• Receive referrals for clients, enhancing your caseload with individuals eager for support.
• Engage with our Clinical Operations Teams, ensuring access to the best resources and support available.
• Participate in optional monthly peer group meetings to foster continuous learning and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to provide care to individuals seeking assistance in navigating their relationship with alcohol. As many clients will vary in their approaches—some seeking moderation while others pursue abstinence—it’s essential to have a deep understanding of the harm-reduction model and available community recovery support systems, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Moderation Management. You will serve an extensive and diverse clientele, bringing empathy and clinical expertise to each interaction.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• Possess training and experience in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to connect with clients empathetically.
• Understanding of community recovery support options and an openness to integrate dual approaches in treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, along with a demonstrated commitment to harm-reduction practices.
• Familiarity with managing online counseling platforms and technology to optimize remote sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by the opportunity to earn bonuses.
