The Community Outreach Network is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team as a full-time provider of mental health services. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, providing individualized therapy strategies tailored to meet each client's unique needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, to support diverse client populations.
  • Engage with clients in group, family, and individual therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques that align with their treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, comprehensive care for clients, addressing both their mental health and emotional needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops, to stay informed about the latest mental health research and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is to serve individuals and families with various mental health concerns, particularly those who may have limited access to quality care. Our counselors are dedicated to providing compassionate support to clients dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will directly impact their ability to achieve personal and relational betterment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
  • At least two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical issues within the mental health community.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse population of clients.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
