We are currently seeking an Associate Manager, Compliance Investigations & Employee Relations, to join our Human Resources and Compliance organization in Richmond, VA.
In this role, you will lead investigations involving potential violations of company policies, the Code of Conduct and applicable laws. You will also partner with leaders and employees to resolve workplace concerns, facilitate conflict resolution, address employee relations matters, and provide coaching and guidance to support a positive, respectful, and high-performing work environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead timely and thorough investigations involving workplace conduct, policy, and compliance concerns.
  • Gather and analyze information, assess findings, and provide clear recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Partner with Legal, HR Business Partners, Corporate Security, and other functions to resolve complex workplace and compliance matters.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders by providing guidance on employee relations issues, performance concerns and workplace conflict.
  • Communicate investigation outcomes and recommendations clearly and objectively to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation within the case management system and ensure matters are managed with professionalism, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Support employee relations, compliance initiatives, training efforts, and other special projects that foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and respect.

We Want You To Have:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience including conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations matters in a corporate or manufacturing setting. Experience supporting a unionized workforce is a plus.
  • Understanding of employment law principles and workplace practices.
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee, candidate, and company information, ensuring trust, privacy, and compliance with organizational expectations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to lead difficult conversations and present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, apply critical thinking, identify key insights, and provide practical, business-focused recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Experience utilizing AI-enabled technology to support workplace investigations, employee relations activities, information analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Experience using case management systems for documentation, reporting, and case tracking.

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $104,900.00 - $152,150.00.
