Description

As a Warehouse Associate with Envision Cold, you will assist in receiving, storing and distributing products in our warehouse. ย This includes picking, packing and shipping of orders in a cooler/freezer environment. Overall, the Warehouse Associate contributes to the efficient functioning of the warehouse by ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods while adhering to safety protocols and procedures.


This position is a full-time role typically First Shift Monday - Friday. ย However, with business demands, you must be able to work overtime if needed, including weekends on occasion. ย ย You will also train on our warehouse equipment to earn a forklift certification as this role is intended to promote you to Warehouse Forklift Operator.


What you'll do (including, but not limited to):ย 

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery and pickup according to schedule, including tasks such as load, pack, wrap, label, and ship.ย 
  • Build loads with relevant equipment.
  • Inspect inventory for damage and defaults.ย 
  • Mark and label stock.
  • Complete any necessary paperwork for inventory.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
  • Keep Supervisors and Team apprised of any issues or discrepancies.
  • Follow company policies and regulations regarding cold storage operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned/needed.


Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Regularly required to stand, sit, reach, bend, twist, kneel and use hands to handle various products.
  • Consistently lift, move, push, pull and carry upwards of 40 lbs. depending on product and business operations.
  • Occasionally lift, move, push, pull and carry upwards of 100 lbs. with assistance depending on product and business operations.
  • Work around, on or near a variety of equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, warehouse racking systems, electronic devices and refrigeration systems.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a good attendance record and work ethic.
  • Prior warehouse experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as noted under Physical Demands/Work Environment.
  • Comfortable working in cold/freezing temperatures while wearing personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
  • High degree of attention to prevent injury to others.
