As an Associate I - ETF Basket Operations within Fund Services, you will ensure baskets accurately reflect fund holdings, projected events, and valuation, enabling efficient creation and redemption activity. This role requires strong attention to detail, understanding of ETF mechanics, and the ability to manage time-sensitive deliverables across multiple funds.
Job responsibilities
  • Project corporate actions (COACs), income accruals, and distributions into baskets in accordance with established methodology.
  • Validate in-kind creation and redemption activity against published baskets, ensuring accuracy of securities, quantities, and cash components.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting trade processing, including ID mismatches, ineligible securities, or projection gaps.
  • Perform T+1 projected versus actual analysis for income and explaining variances.
  • Execute daily controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of baskets, projections, and valuations, escalating any risks or discrepancies.
  • Partner with Fund Accounting, Trading, Corporate Actions, and Technology teams to resolve issues and support daily deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by leveraging emotional intelligence skills to build trusting relationships with peers, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Propose and implement improvements to current working methods, contributing to the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform.
  • Build, maintain, and publish daily ETF baskets in alignment with fund holdings.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2 plus years of experience in financial services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate issues and resolutions.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience preferred in ETF, fund accounting or operations
