Job description

Join the JPMorganChase Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) as Senior Associate, Quantitative Analytics in Finance & Business Management, supporting the Client Onboarding & Service group. Client Onboarding & Service represents 7,000+ headcount with ~$900M of annual expense. 

As a Quantitative Analytics - Senior Associate, you will be part of a team responsible for management of complex workforce capacity/staffing modeling across various Client Onboarding & Service functions. This role demands stakeholder management, as you will regularly interface with senior leaders to address questions. Technical expertise in SQL, Python and dashboarding tools (e.g., Sigma, QlikSense, Tableau) is essential.

As a Senior Associate in the Client Services & Implementation Business Management team, you will support the CIB's Chief Financial Office and Finance & Business Management teams to forward progress on complex initiatives and provide timely and intuitive analytics for decision making. You will work closely with CIB's Finance & Business Management teams and Client Onboarding & Service leadership to plan, coordinate and execute on a number of run and change activities, aimed at progressing the strategic agenda of CIB's Finance & Business Management organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead capacity modeling and workforce staffing projections for a ~7,000 headcount organization.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics using tools such as Sigma and Tableau.
  • Utilize SQL and Python for data analysis and modeling.
  • Forward process improvements and automation capacity modeling.
  • Collaborate with Finance & Business Management and Client Onboarding & Service leadership to support strategic initiatives.
  • Advance the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around staffing models and volume forecasts.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quantitative analytics, finance, or related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python and dashboarding tools (Sigma, Tableau).
  • Experience with activity-based costing and workforce modeling.
  • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, especially in challenging situations.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
     

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Advanced degree.
