Associate Quality Engineer Location: West Lafayette, IN $33-$38/hr DOE 3 month contract w/ chance of extension Responsibilities will include: * Implement and execute the Quality Management System principles and processes * Support a high-urgency production line by responding to Andon calls and processing nonconformances in a timely fashion * Lead corrective action teams to implement effective solutions to quality problems and bring 8Ds to closure in a timely fashion * Serve as an effective liaison between Client and customer * Perform internal audits to ensure process maturity and capability while ensuring compliance for our customer, production, and supply chain functions * Support process development by integrating quality policy into procedures and continual process improvement * Contribute to a people-first culture in alignment to Client values, demonstrating core Company values: Trust, Drive, Expertise, and Support * Other tasks as assigned to support operation Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred * Experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred * Excellent communication and team building experience * Experience in partnering with DCMA is a plus * Ability to be self-driven and deliver a high quality of work * Ability to drive and lead change.
