The QA Engineer is an integral part of our QA team, responsible for maintaining rigorous standards of excellence. The QA Engineer will work alongside our Software Engineering team and Product Managers, focusing on supporting the user experience driven by the development of new and innovative products, as well as enhancing existing products and technologies.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Support the QA initiatives by conducting thorough testing and quality assurance.
  • Identify, recommend, and deploy the most effective testing tools and techniques.
  • Provide a hands-on role in the testing process.
  • Write significant amounts of high-quality test cases.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers on product roadmaps and feature acceptance criteria.
  • Match QA priorities with business needs and requirements.
  • Provide effective and consistent communication to peers and management about project status and team health.
  • Continuously learn and stay updated with emerging QA practices and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant QA experience within an agile (continuous deployment) environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with test methodologies, QA processes, tools (e.g., JIRA, SQL), and software release cycles.
  • Evident problem-solving skills and strong technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in product documentation and QA reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Focus on excellent time management, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic and developing environment.
