We have a wonderful new opportunity to join our Residential Living team in this variety filled position that includes both transportation and administrative work.   The Community Engagement Associate will play an important role in enhancing the daily experience of our residents by providing dependable campus transportation, exceptional customer service, and administrative support for the Wellness and Resident Life Department. This position serves as a welcoming resource for residents, assisting with scheduled transportation needs while also supporting programs, communications, committees, and resident engagement activities. 
This is a full time position working 30 hours/week Monday - Friday 10am-4:30pm

  Community Engagement Associate responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide safe, courteous, and timely transportation for residential living residents and team members throughout campus during established shuttle service hours.
  • Operate a variety of organization-owned vehicles including Passenger Vehicle, Wheelchair-Accessible Van, and a 14-Passenger       Shuttle Bus.
  • Prepare flyers, event announcements, and other resident communications.
  • Compile, edit, format, and publish the department's monthly newsletter.  
  • Coordinate correspondence using Outlook and other Office software.
  • Assist with planning and supporting resident activities, educational programs, and special events.

Requirements

Community Engagement Associate Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent. 
  • Current driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications to include: Outlook, Word, Excel. Canva proficiency also required. Ability to learn additional software applications as needed. 
  • Previous customer service, administrative, hospitality, recreation, and/or senior living experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities throughout the workday. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
