Job Summary
NVR Technology is seeking an IT Project Manager who combines strong organizational skills, leadership, and execution capabilities to support both technology initiatives and strategic IT workforce programs. This role will lead small to mid-sized IT projects while also partnering with the IT Workforce Program Manager to coordinate key employee-focused initiatives such as the Summer Internship Program, onboarding efforts, and employee engagement activities.
This position is ideal for individuals who naturally take the lead and are looking to expand their leadership and project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead small to mid-sized technology projects involving both business applications and infrastructure teams.
- Develop project plans, schedules, agile/kanban boards, and communications to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate project activities across functional teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners.
- Facilitate project meetings, manage action items, and communicate project status, risks, objectives, and dependencies.
- Help teams prioritize work, remove obstacles, and maintain momentum toward project goals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, status updates, metrics, risks, issues and communications for leadership and project stakeholders.
- Assist with planning, communications, scheduling, logistics, and execution of workforce programs.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, organized, and maintained.
Job Qualifications
We are interested in candidates who have demonstrated strong coordination, leadership, planning, and execution skills through experiences such as:
- 2-5 years of experience within IT, or a business function supporting technology, operations, human resources or organizational initiatives. Eperience as a Scrum Master, Project Coordinator, Associate Project Manager, Business Analyst, Team Lead, or similar role.
- Experience in a role that combined elements of strong coordination, planning, communication, process improvement, collaboration & reporting tools and/or stakeholder management.
- Proven ability to organize and drive work completion within a team.
- Demonstrated leadership through facilitation, relationship building, and ownership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly adaptable with a growth mindset and receptive to mixed agile and waterfall project management approaches.
