Experienced AVEVA / Wonderware Project Engineer
Candidates must have prior AVEVA / Wonderware experience. Allen Bradley PLC experience is desired.
Avanceon is hiring an Experienced Project Engineer to join our Engineering Team. Experienced Project Engineers are directly responsible for the development and implementation of process automation systems for our customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to design and develop solutions that deliver value and innovation to their business in the form of productivity / capacity increase or quality improvement
  • Work with customers to innovate, architect, and design the correct solution to their specific challenges that typically focus on efficiency, streamlined processes, and quality improvement
  • Look outside the traditional box of normal solutions and apply new approaches and technologies to the solution we deliver
  • Know how to implement the traditional technologies of PLC and SCADA but are open to leveraging the power of Industry 4.0 (I4.0 IIOT) and IT technologies to deliver exceptional applications
  • Develop, test, and deploy these applications independently and with a team
  • Develop operator interface solutions for HMI or other applications that streamline equipment operations
  • Develop control logic in a PLC or other control platforms for a wide variety of industries and processes

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others on multiple projects
  • Experience programming a range of PLC and SCADA systems. Wonderware experience is is required. Allen Bradley experience is desired.
  • Feel comfortable talking to engineers, IT, and operations and can bridge the gap between them.
  • This position can be local or remote but requires project-related travel to customer locations
