Summary:

The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in driving the successful execution of complex, cross-functional projects aligned with corporate strategy. This position is responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle—from initiation through closure—ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to coordinate internal teams and external partners, manage resources, mitigate risks, and maintain high-quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will oversee projects that may be systems, technology, or process improvement driven, and will be accountable for project documentation, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting. A strong sense of ownership, strategic thinking, and customer-centric mindset are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University
  • 5-7 years related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 - 7 years Project Management experience involving business or financial analytical experience
  • Banking, Financial Services and/or related industry preferred
  • Experience with Information Security and/or IT preferred
Certifications Requirement:

Project Management Certification Required OR in process of obtaining Project Certification
