We are searching for the best talent for Associate Process Engineer position.

The Associate Engineer supports manufacturing, process, and/or packaging operations through technical execution, structured problem solving, and continuous improvement activities. Working within an assigned value stream or project team, the role provides engineering support to maintain and improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance in regulated manufacturing environments. The Associate Engineer contributes to equipment, process, and product improvements; supports validation and change control activities; and collaborates with cross-functional partners including Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet business and compliance objectives in accordance with applicable regulatory and quality system requirements.

You will be responsible for:

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Provide day-to-day engineering support within assigned manufacturing, process, or packaging areas.
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving equipment, process, and product issues using structured problem-solving and data analysis techniques.
  • Support troubleshooting activities to restore and improve process performance, product quality, and safety.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process, equipment, or packaging enhancements to improve efficiency, yield, reliability, and compliance.
  • Support or lead defined improvement projects aligned with site and business objectives.
  • Apply statistical and analytical tools (e.g., data trending, basic DOE) to evaluate and improve processes.
  • Support qualification and validation of equipment, processes, and packaging systems in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in change control activities, including impact assessments, implementation, and documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Work effectively within cross-functional teams to support manufacturing, quality, and project objectives.
  • Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support interactions with vendors and external partners as required
  • Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulatory, quality, safety, and company requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance at all times.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience, including internships or co-op experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in standard office and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to produce clear, compliant technical documentation.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages site-dependent.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to validation, change control, or process improvement activities.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
