Job description

Pennoni is hiring! In particular, we are looking for an Associate Engineer to contribute to our water & wastewater projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in King of Prussia, PA.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to water and wastewater infrastructure planning projects: design, permitting, inspection & construction administration (including pump stations, distribution, collection & conveyance, storage tanks, and treatment).
  • Coordinate infrastructure design with other design disciplines
  • Demonstrate leadership skills by coordinating projects, as needed.
  • Plan and manage the preparation of construction drawings & specifications.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably a BS in Civil Engineering).
  • 2+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with infrastructure / utility projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • FE / EIT.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams to support infrastructure / utility projects, especially with wet utilities.
  • Experience working on design and permitting activities.
  • Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g.: CADD, GIS, analytical programs, etc.), especially with AutoCAD Civil 3D; additional experience with ArcGIS, OpenFlows WaterGEMS and/or SewerGEMS is a plus!
  • Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude.
  • Strong leadership skills; project management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
