Titale: Programming Associate - Podcasts
PR: $29/hr
Duration: 9 Months

Hours: 10am to 7pm Monday through Friday, flexible schedule may be need as deliverables are adjusted. There may be some later night schedules depending on the time of year. May be requested to work weekend/holiday as needed.

What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource?
This is a production assistant type role, familiar with web publishing, content management systems, may need to manage moving files. Experience in adobe creative suite Photoshop and Premier, as they will participate in making thumbnails and a little editing. Video publishing with services like YouTube is required, as they may need to input metadata. Experience in a corporate office environment is important as they will support multiple stakeholders, required communication with team members at all levels, will require an ability to troubleshoot issues, this is a team-based environment and requires a collaborative team member. Should be able to take critique and be proactive in corrections.
What are the TOP Critical Skills or Must Haves skills a candidate should have on their resume in order to be considered?
1-3 years of digital media experience
Experience as a production assistant or similar field
Knowledge of the podcast industry
Has strong editorial instinct with the ability to create short-form clips from broader podcast moments
Ability to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays
Knowledge of CBS News and CBS Sports;Paramount has rights to (NFL, CFB, CBB, Golf, UFC, WNBA, Soccer)

Job Description:
Looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented programming associate to support the growth and visibility of its expansive podcast portfolio.
In this role, you will help drive podcast distribution across Paramount+ apps that are produced by the award-winning CBS Sports and CBS News divisions.
The ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional operator with excellent communication, project management and analytical skills. You will work closely with programming teams, podcast managers, producers and stakeholders across Paramount+, CBS Sports and CBS News to identify distribution opportunities, track performance and support data-informed decisions that grow engagement across platforms.
Strong familiarity with CBS Sports and CBS News properties is a must for the position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Uploading full podcast episodes to Paramount PlusPartner with producers to publish podcast clips as VOD and vertical videosCollaborate daily with product and key stakeholders to review performancePartner with marketing to explore promotional opportunitiesCommunicate daily with the Paramount Plus teams to ensure publishing is running smoothlyTrack data and communicate performance to broader group, including key stakeholdersProvide updates in meetings with key stakeholders such as production, marketing, editorial and sales
Coordinate with Paramount+ on the creation of backend publishing needs to launch Podcast show pages and playlists
