We're looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to play a key role in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) for a complex, fast-moving logistics environment. This role offers the opportunity to own forecasts, budgets, and scenario modeling while delivering clear variance analysis and forward-looking insights that shape operational and strategic decisions. You'll partner closely with Logistics Operations and senior leaders, giving you strong visibility and influence as you translate data into actionable financial plans and performance improvements. With exposure to endtoend planning cycles, advanced modeling, and cost optimization initiatives, this role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their FP&A expertise while making a tangible business impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Provides in-depth financial analysis on a variety of ad hoc reporting and data requests.

  • Develops sophisticated financial models, dashboards, KPIs, trend and scenario analyses to maximize performance and mitigate risk, enabling data-driven decision-making through clear dashboards and compelling presentations for financial and operational stakeholders

  • Oversees regular financial reporting, forecast, and plan submissions to ensure accuracy.

  • Develops strong partnership within Logistics Operations Management to proactively identify cost saving opportunities and mitigate business risks; incorporates industry trends and environmental analysis into financial decision-making materials.

  • Maintains strong partnerships and consults with leadership across the Logistics department.

  • Collaborates on budgeting and accounting processes as required.


About You:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce/Economics); working towards business related designation (e.g., CPA, MBA) is an asset.

  • A minimum of four (4) years of financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting, modeling & reporting experience; experience supporting Logistics or Supply Chain Operations is an asset.

  • Proven analytical & problem-solving skills including the analysis of complex information, research skills, and knowledge of database design and manipulation concepts.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to adapt communication styles to suit a wide variety of audiences.

  • Ability to work in a detail-oriented, multi-project environment while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Strong independent work ethic: able to drive results, accurately estimate time required to complete projects, initiative follow-up, and keep appropriate stakeholders or peers aware of progress.
