Job Summary
The Assistant/Associate Professor position will teach aerospace engineering courses and conduct cutting edge, externally funded research. advise students, and serve on various departmental, college, and university committees.
Essential Job Duties
  • Develop curriculum and teach a cross section of undergraduate courses
  • Develop and conduct a vigorous, externally funded research program
  • Perform academic advisement
  • Participate in university, school, departmental, and professional service activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering
  • Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Expertise in Aerodynamics, Space Mechanics, or Flight Mechanics/Automatic Flight Controls are preferred, but other areas of expertise may also be considered
