Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and technically fluent Associate to contribute to the delivery of Apollo's Credit & Insurance technology strategy. Sitting within Credit COO, the Associate will work closely with senior Product Managers and business stakeholders to execute platform initiatives across front-office, trading, risk, and data domains. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience with financial technology implementations, a solid understanding of capital markets workflows, and a collaborative approach to translating business requirements into actionable product outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of technology platforms across Credit & Insurance, including proprietary front‑office systems and integrated vendor solutions.
  • Translate business requirements from traders, portfolio managers, and risk teams into well‑defined product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering and vendor teams to manage sprint cycles, track deliverables, and proactively address blockers.
  • Build and maintain product roadmap artifacts across product verticals, ensuring alignment with the broader Credit technology strategy.
  • Support and contribute to platform and vendor evaluation processes, including requirements definition, vendor demos, structured scoring, and recommendation materials, across areas such as investment data infrastructure, OMS/EMS platforms, and risk tools.
  • Develop and maintain KPI and SLA dashboards to monitor platform health, adoption, and operational performance.
  • Support change management and user adoption activities, including documentation, training materials, and communication plans.
  • Participate in cross‑vertical coordination forums, identifying where changes in one product area may create downstream impact in another and flagging these proactively.
  • Produce clear, structured materials for senior stakeholder reviews, including program updates, option analyses, and decision briefs.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in product management, technology implementation, or financial services; prior experience at an asset manager, investment bank, or financial technology firm preferred.
  • Familiarity with front‑office workflows, including trading, portfolio management, or risk processes in credit or fixed income markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to write structured requirements, manage backlogs, and collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile or iterative delivery model.
  • Strong analytical and data skills; experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Exposure to Order Management Systems, risk platforms, or data infrastructure in a financial services context is a plus.
  • Self‑starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
