Job Description:

OVERVIEW

The Product Line Leader - Curing Solutionsis responsible for both commercial and operational aspects of the Curing Systems product lines, including marketing, sales support, product engineering, manufacturing, and project management.

The Product Line Leader - Curing Solutions will also be required to own the Curing Product lines strategic direction, ensuring we are best positioned in the Market for growth and further develop our customers' trust.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and communicate the Curing Product Lines' long-term vision and strategy.
  • Lead the curing systems team by assisting them in daily work, prioritizing initiatives, and removing obstacles.
  • Collaboration with the Service and Aftermarket department to ensure they have the resources and support needed.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the market, analyze the trends and market data to inform product line decisions. Plan and execute strategies for launching the product effectively into the market.
  • Understand customer requirements to ensure we meet our customer expectations.
  • Manage the full lifecycle from initial concept, design and development to testing and product launch, supporting our service team beyond installation and commissioning.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure projects are delivered to our customers on time and within scope.
  • Support Inside Sales with accurate quoting and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
  • Manage product backlog, give lead times, prioritize orders, and monitor daily order coordination to make sure Curing products stay on track.
  • Evaluate and set stocking levels and pricing on all curing offerings, including aftermarket parts and equipment.
  • Implement testing and quality assurance practices to deliver a reliable and user-friendly product.
  • Monitor key indicators to assess the product's success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Inform all relevant parties about progress, changes, and upcoming releases.
  • Lead innovation for the curing line, partnering with the wider Engineering and R&D teams.
  • Provide guidance and direct line leadership to the Curing product line team members.
  • Organize sessions to gather user insights and test the product for usability and functionality.
  • Ensure product initiatives support and advance the organization's objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in Product Leadership or related role, with a commercial background in related manufacturing/ plant industries.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle and development processes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, partnering across multiple departments, with a capacity for listening and absorbing different points of view.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a passion for connecting with others.
  • Use judgment to make complex decisions to solve difficult and complex problems.
  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis.
  • Up to 40% travel.

LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Mediapolis, Iowa-based employees: On-site attendance is required five days per week when not traveling. Travel is expected to be up to 40%.

Remote employees: Remote work arrangements will be considered for qualified candidates. This option requires the ability to travel up to 70% to Mediapolis, Iowa, customer sites, and other company locations as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility, with travel to customer plants. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in manufacturing areas.

The approximate pay range for this position is $105,000.00 - $158,470.00 per year. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
