About the Role
Our client is looking for an Associate Product Developer, Sampling to own the end-to-end sampling process for assigned product categories. This is a newly created role added to support growing workload on the Product Development team.
You will handle everything from prepositioning sample yardage through ordering and tracking garment samples. You will partner daily with Design, Product Development, Raw Materials, and Merchandising to make sure the assortment is represented accurately and on time, which directly supports business decisions and creative needs. You will also own readiness reporting at both the material and style level leading into key milestones.
What You Will Do
  • Order, manage, and track sample yardage from prepositioning through delivery
  • Order and track garment samples for your assigned categories
  • Communicate daily with raw material suppliers, garment vendors, and internal partners
  • Build and maintain readiness reporting in Excel at the material and style level
  • Serve as the go-to point person for all sampling questions within your categories
  • Flag risks to timelines early and drive resolution across teams

What You Bring
  • Prior experience in product development, sampling, raw materials, or a closely related apparel role
  • Strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with vendors and cross-functional partners
  • Highly detail oriented and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple categories at once
  • Comfortable staying calm and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Positive, outgoing, team-first attitude
