Job description

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Producer to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in either Palm Beach Gardens, FL, West Palm Beach, FL or Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
  • Conducting sales, service, and solicitation of all forms of insurance business
  • Participating in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel.
  • Maximizing growth and client retention through superior customer service
  • Developing accounts and cross selling available products and services
  • Generating and pursuing new client opportunities
  • Presenting our services and solutions at prospect meetings
  • Bringing new business prospects to closure
  • Retaining clients by maintaining solid business-to-business relationships
  • Preparing and implementing an individual business plan and production budget.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of previous business-to-business sales experience preferred
  • Deep knowledge of the Private Client/High Net Worth insurance marketplace, with demonstrated proficiency working with premier carriers.
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and address complex personal risk exposures, providing clients with tailored insurance and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, carrier partners, underwriters, and internal associates, fostering long-term business partnerships and collaborative success.
  • Exceptional consultative selling, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and centers of influence.
  • Ability to analyze complex coverage needs, evaluate risk profiles, and develop customized insurance programs designed to protect clients' assets and lifestyles.
  • Private Client/High-Net-Worth Insurance sales experience preferred
  • Experience selling to a specific industry a plus
  • Required to obtain the appropriate state licensing with 90 days of hire
  • Preference given to those with existing insurance licensure and/or industry designations
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
  • Good listening skills and ability to determine clients' needs efficiently
